Great location! Buxton has loads of restaurants serving lovely food. Host was very attentive!

Some proper firewood for the fire (1st night on arrival), would have added to the experience.

The cottage was perfect with lots of great touches. Very comfortable and homely. Loved the rope stair hand rail. The cottage was well heated. Everything you needed for a short for a family of six and Dougie the dog. The cottage was in a great location and the host was so nice. She gave us great recommendations and kept in touch to make sure our stay was going ok. We all had a great time in Buxton!

The location is amazing in centre of town, Close to shops, restaurants and bars There was a Christmas tree and decorated fireplace Parking is right outside Comfy bed Everything we needed in kitchen Most glorious bath tub Host Sally was most helpful. I had an issue with hairdryer and she bought another one over next morning.

perfect location had our own private parking bay, easier when you have an extra person with you as you need to unlock the bollards and lock up again to keep the space, saves you getting out to do it yourself, great decor nice shops to visit and plenty of restaurants to visit

bathroom was a little bit chilly as there's only a towel rail to heat the bathroom which doesn't really give out much heat and No Bathrobes supplied, even though it was mentioned in description, the shared yard outback could do with some TLC and maybe table and chairs outback instead of at the front of the house

This house is amazing! It was a wow moment on every door we opened. The decor was fun, quirky, tasteful and everywhere you look is something different to see. It's a comfy house with modern facilities and has everything you need with plenty of information and communication. It is right by Buxton town centre so in walking distance to all the local amenities. I loved it!

Everything was great. However anyone who has difficulty with stairs should be aware that it's an old house and the stairs are fairly steep. Bedrooms are on two floors. The first floor has an amazing master bedroom and an even more amazing bathroom, and the stairs aren't too bad. But stairs to the second floor are very very steep, I had to use the bannister to pull myself up them! My travelling companion was unable to get up these stairs so was lucky enough to have the master bedroom on the first floor. But trust me, if you can do the stairs - it's worth it!

Beautifully clean. Beautiful decor very quirky. Lovely crockery Glass wear. Important when you have nice things at home. Everything catered for in the kitchen Nice placemats. Cafeteria. Egg cups just so much thought. All basic foods included. TCSugar. Little extras in cupboards. 🫒 oil. Lounge very comfortable. Nice big dining table. Hive heating thermostat. Log burner. Sonos. Bathroom absolutely beautiful and very large. Roll top bath. 🛀. Big double walk in shower. Bedrooms lovely furnishings. Just perfect. Have to say. We stay in a lot of ABB’s. High standards usually. But this little gem is just gorgeous You could not get any closer to every amenity. Bonus parking in front of the property Train and buses 5 mins max walk. Opera house 3 mins walk. 🚶‍♀️ Just got to say the stairs are very steep so enquire if you have mobility problems. Sally is genuinely really helpful answered all my questions and very responsive when you call her. A massive thank you Sally we had a lovely stay ✅💗
