Quirky property with a great location in central Buxton Host extremely helpful to make sure our stay was perfect

It's location was mind blowingly amazing! Comfiest beds ever

Not so much didn't like but we had a big car and struggled to turn it around to park. Once we were in it was completely fine, but it did stress me out a little getting in

The location was excellent, a stones throw from the centre of town. The parking space was great, just across from the cottage and no need to move the car.

The cooker was a little tricky to navigate; we got there but an instruction book may have been good.

Armchairs very low not suitable for aged father as they are very difficult to get out of even I needed my husband to help. It’s not a naturally light room so could do with some brighter bulbs or different shades. Unfortunately the dining chairs are not padded enough you can feel the wood. quite uncomfortable especially as we love to play cards and board games so we were at the table a lot Not suitable if you are aged as the stairs are very steep especially the ones to the top floor.

A lovely property in the heart of Buxton. Close to all bars, restaurants, shops but still very quiet and tranquil. Couldn’t hear any noise from outside. There’s a parking space available and the bedrooms were spacious all with double beds which was great travelling as a group. Sally the host was exceptionally helpful. Even left us some fizz and fresh coffee and milk etc. Quirky cottage with fabulous decor. Loved the freestanding bath and unwinding there. Highly recommend and will tell any friends or family visiting Buxton to consider staying at this wonderful cottage. Thank you-we had a great time.
