Fishermans flat - River view holiday home

Great location, warm and well equipped with good quality furnishings . The kitchen was very clean with lovely glasses and crockery.

The steepness of the staircase was mentioned at the booking but it seems extremely dangerous and in the event of an emergency, getting up or down from there seems very dangerous. The second bedroom upstairs photo was of a twin, in fact it was a pull out bed which made it very tight for space. The toilet brush in the bathroom was absolutely filthy and completely unacceptable- especially these days with easier clean silicone brushes available. It would have been nice to have some logs supplies for the fire. Easily could be added on to the rental cost. The living room needs another chair- we couldn't use the one in the bedroom as it was very unstable and unsafe

The facilities, the closeness to everything we needed . Great cosy place to stay especially when the weather turned foul. Really responsive owner provided an exceptional service

Location is ok.

Place was filthy, kitchen utensils dirty, plates etc. Bathroom drain blocked (we had to open for water to drain). On arrival door was open, door was not properly locked (lock had some issues). I would not suggest for people with young kids or elderly people as you have a flight of stairs after the main door and the second and third bedrooms are in the attic with a ladder to climb (that's not a stairs!). On a positive note place was nice, and location is good, a bit noisy on week ends, parking is problematic during week ends too. The host was nice too.

The stairs to the second and third bedroom but it did not put us off. I knew they were going to be steep but would not like to climb them if I was a bit tipsy. Ha ha ha

Ideally situated for shops and restaurants, spotless, and very cosy, could do with another comfy chair added though, would stay again. Thank You John

Lovely location, very warm and cosy, very well-equipped kitchen, excellent shower. Lots to see and do in Broughty Ferry and nearby Dundee

Very minor details (washing up liquid, tea towel and spare toilet roll would have been good). Parking was a bit hit and miss - there was always space available but sometimes 100m away.
