"WE took our kids and grandkids and loved being together in the same house, not multiple motel rooms."

WE loved the old home charm and front porch. Parking in front, having a nice kitchen, including coffee maker with coffee, nice modern appliances and WIFI for guests was great. We loved the large table in the dining room; the bedrooms and we rested well with a short drive to ride the Cass Railroad after checkout.

We had everything we needed, the house is very big and well equipped

We where hiking in the monongahela NP so we had to drive twice a day more than an hour

Heather was super nice and a pleasure to deal with throughout the entire process. the place was spacious and there was plenty of room for everybody. If highly recommend BaseCamp!

There's only one restaurant in town and it was closed by the time we got there.

"Clean, comfortable home 40 min from Snow Shoe, WV in quiet neighborhood near main street"

This is a charming home located in a rural town in West Virginia. We loved large TV with wifi, wood burning stove with available on site wood and great kitchen setup. Host was excellent and communicated often.

This home is in a very small town, closest 'grocery' is over 90 min away but there are Dollar General stores that have most of what you need within 20 minutes away. Bring supplies! There is no cellular cover anywhere, not in Durbin or on roads or at Snow Shoe resort or .... Even if your mobile says a few bars, your phone will not work. Parts of WV and VA are just really remote... and that can be good.
