The village is pretty, and the neighbours are friendly and helpful. We prepare our breakfast and dinner in the antique kitchen. Lighting the log-burning stove and fireplace was a very memorable experience. The upstairs living room and balcony are charming.

Het was een heel bijzonder huisje, prachtig ingericht in middeleeuwse sfeer. Verder fijn dat er wel moderne voorzieningen waren, zoals een prettige douche, een wasmachine en wifi. De natuur en omgeving is prachtig.

Het was een erg warme week (daar kan de verhuurder uiteraard niets aan doen), maar we waren erg blij geweest met een ventilator in de slaapkamer voor een beetje verkoeling. Hoewel de inrichting prachtig oogt, was het meubilair helaas niet erg comfortabel. Voor boodschappen moet je wel een stukje rijden.

We loved the rustic and old school feel of the place. The decor and the furnishings take yo back into history however offer all of the comforts of modern day life. We enjoyed the wooden stoves and the coziness the fires provided.

Great opportunities for forest trips in the area. A few hundred meters from the house there are waterfalls in the forest, where you can bathe, and it's worth it if there's a heat wave, because it's very cold. A stone bridge from the Roman period can also be found in the forest, which gives off a special atmosphere.
