Accommodation and swimming pool were both great, setting is in the countryside very pleasant

Roads to the house are single track, but we'll maintain.

A little clearer on the publicity that the pool etc is at extra cost - we missed it as didn't scroll all the way through. Our own mistake but if it could be clearer higher up that would be perfect

Set in a lovely quiet area about 15 minutes from Forfar. Beautiful refurbished cottage stayed with family including my 86 year old dad. Would have been a 10/10, however Booking.com don't tell you that the Spa needs to be pre-'booked and is not included in the cost. Wasn't dear about £30 for 2 hours which was exclusive to your party. Pool was refreshing and jacuzzi could have been a bit warmer. I would have used the facilities more if you could have access to it late morning/ afternoon but most bookings is 4-8pm with a possibility of booking 7-11am. It would be good to have access to a shower stool and a rail to hold onto in the walk in shower room for the less mobile guest. And for the vain a full length mirror. Great little find though.

we were made to feel very welcome, the hosts are excellent as is the location and the facilities.
