Fox Cottage

It’s well thought out and equipped little cottage with two good sized bedroom. Lounge space is limited if there are 4 people but a good size and well equipped kitchen make up for that.

We absolutely loved our stay at Fox Cottage. It was everything we had been looking for.. so comfortable and incredibly warm and welcoming (thank you so much for the basket of gifts - they were very much appreciated!). It is such scrupulously clean little cottage with lots of privacy, and we loved all the little comfort cushions and blankets to ensure a really cosy stay.

I cannot think of anything we “didn’t like”. If anything, perhaps keeping an eye on slippery floorboards, particularly in the kitchen area, as I could see this could present issues for some people as we did slip and slide a few times, but to be honest I’m not really sure what you could do other than add a non slip rug. This is not a criticism - I have only praise for the high standard of accommodation you offer!

Très beau cottage très cosy , décoré avec goût . Literie impeccable . Très beaux volumes . Jardin magnifique . Petites attentions dans un panier ( œufs , biscuits ,…) . Cuisine bien équipée. À deux pas du centre du charmant village de Moffatt. Et très proche en voiture d une réserve naturelle avec cascades et lacs . Un petit coin de paradis ❤️

Loved the quirkiness of it Had everything we needed. If the weather is good the garden is just lovely Will definitely be returning

Cosy cottage and off the road. Parking space directly in front of the property. Quiet without feeling too isolated. Owner left us some snacks as a welcome gift - that’s a nice touch.

Accommodation felt rather cold when we first arrived. Needed heating to go straight on. Living room window is quite big so, at times, we needed to draw the curtain to ensure privacy - there’s a large victorian type property directly overlooking the cottage.

Beautiful cottage, perfect for a family - gutted we arrived so late and didn’t get to spend more time there! The layout, the decor, the beds, the shower - it was all fantastic. And the garden, what a beautiful little addition! Also super easy instructions to follow and great communication.

Nothing at all - it was spot on.

Apart from the absence of a bathtub we really like the cottage. Very clean comfortable and welcoming with great facilities.
