"Brilliant dog walking location in beautiful countryside"

The property was really clean, perfect enclosed front and back garden for dogs, really close to Denholm which has a couple of great places to eat. Little extras such as tea, coffee, milk and biscuits were appreciated after a long drive

The mattress on the double bed was a little hard but fine for a few nights

"Fabulous cottage, in a quiet scenic rural hamlet."

Perfectly located, a short pleasant walk from Denholm. The quiet little hamlet is a lovely, ‘get away from it all’ location and the cottage is just a dream of a place to stay.

Warm, cosy and comfortable. Lovely secluded garden

My knees are not so good so going upstairs was a bit slow but that’s my problem which I have to get on with.

"We thoroughly enjoyed our short break."

A cosy and warm cottage in a great location with a lovely garden and great countryside around. Denholm is an attractive village nearby supplying lovely take away food from the restaurant and the pub. The cottage is near Hawick with supermarkets and a great leisure centre.

What a beautiful little cottage in a stunning setting. Walks right on the doorstep and such lovely people next door and in the village. Ye old cross keys pup is welcoming and dog friendly, will definitely be back.

Nothing but we were rubbish at lighting the log burner , good job the house was lovely and warm!

"A great place for a break in the Borders"

Herb Wood is a quiet,cosy place for a relaxing stay. It is well furnished and fully equipped. The house was spotless and the king size bed extremely comfortable. Heating and hot water were readily available and the super-large bath a great treat after a day exploring by car or on foot. A great place for a break in the Borders.
