Nothing at all

Very comfortable beach house a short walk from the sea. Had everything we needed and was very convenient to stay. Outdoor shower is very practical, the plunge pool is great to cool down, and the TV system is perfect for entertaining kids or having a relaxing evening.

We had a comfortable relaxed stay with everything we needed.

There was no breakfast as this was a self catering establishment. The location was nice and the house was large enough for our family of 8 people and it is close to the lagoon.

Upon arrival we were extremely disappointed as the outside looked very shabby with peeling fascia boards. The picture on booking.com makes it look very nice but in reality that is not the case. There was a washing machine provided. However, when we tried to use it smoke started pouring out of it and as a result of that we had to use a laundry service in town. We contacted Catherine and she said she was going to send someone to fix it but when we left on Tuesday morning it was not fixed. Some of the furniture inside and outside was not very clean and damaged and need some serious attention. The one couch in the lounge had a big tear in it and we could see the foam padding. The sliding door in the lounge was sticking. The plastic kettle lid was broken. 2 of the 4 emergency lamps cables were cut (lamps provided for loadshedding) and I managed to fix one of them. The speakers in the lounge weren't working properly and the auxillary cable was missing. On one of the nights we were there it rained and we could hear water dripping on the ceiling above the dining room table although nothing leaked through. The lights in the one bedroom were not working and I eventually found some bulbs to replace them. This should be checked before guests arrive.
