Madarao Farm

The agricultural essence of the neighborhood was great. The apples were delicious so were the persimmons lots of room bedrooms, barbecue and bicycles to Ride. We stayed there for four days and it was perfect. The host was great.

The house was beautiful with lots of thoughtful touches. We were extremely comfortable and the host was lovely. We loved the rural location and the spacious traditional house.

The location was really good to get to the mountains and lakes. The owners were very very friendly and helpful. The house is quite large with lots of room to relax. The backyard had a nice breeze and good exposure to sunshine. The staff were so kind to our Labrador dog :) !!

You had to be really quick at night when going out the front door to keep the bugs out. But this is more a reflection of the season than the property. Not really something that can be helped.

Great host who offered to drive us into town and pick us up from the station. Got on really well.

A real farm house, very quiet place. Had everything we needed. The owners were very kind and helpful.

Kerosene heater seemed dangerous, many many stink bugs

The host was incredibly helpful and available, we appreciated a lot the lift from and to the station. Overall the structure is great and perfect for a true Japanese countryside experience! Mark was also kind enough to let us use the bikes since we didn't rent a car, very helpful to get around in the immediate vicinity. Another strong plus the traditional bath inside of the house

With the countryside experience also come the downsides, there were lot of bugs at night, nothing that can be faulted to the hosts or to the structure itself, but it's worth mentioning.

Wonderful accommodation - very cosy and unique and great value for money. Great facilities and loved staying in a traditional Japanese farmhouse.
