"Adequate but..."

Everything worked.

Too much was of minimal style/quality to be enjoyable, from details (no cups and saucers, only cheap mugs) up to inadequate and very uncomfortable seating, and the lack of any wardrobe space. The instructions and prohibitions were overdone - really not the way to address clients. There was disturbing noise from the main road immediately adjacent.
