It felt like home from home

It is very clean and has everything we need for our stay, even alexa and first aid kit. Lovely and helpful host with tea, coffee, fresh milk, and tea cakes provided. It is also a short distance (just 10 minutes walk) to the town centre, seaside, restaurants, train station, etc

The central location, the size of the rooms and everything that we needed was provided.

The only problem was the back door lock was not working properly from the first time we unlocked it we would spend ages and ages to try to lock it, even with the instructions provided.

The holiday ending..!

A great place to stay for a few days with family. The house was quiet, really well equipt with everything we needed, and it was spotlessly clean. Three's a big TV with multiple channels which was easy to use and big comfortable sofas. There's even an Alexa. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need and the host was kind enough to provide some essentials such as tea, coffee, sugar, salt & pepper and more. There was even fresh milk in the fridge. It was 5 mins walk to Tesco and McDonalds and it's walking distance into the town centre and the beach. It was great that the host was able to organise a parking permit so that we could park right outside the property. Communication with the host was excellent. We had a very comfortable stay and would definitely stay here again.

Nothing we didn't like, just a couple of suggestions. As it's an old building, some of the internal doorways have a small step as you go through. It might be good to highlight these somehow on the floor to prevent trips (we placed a folded white dishtowel on the floor to remind us after tripping several times, but something more permanent would be better). The main staircase is very steep so some people may struggle with this, although my 79 & 85 year old parents managed OK by being careful and holding onto the bannister. And, just a small point, the beds were clean and fresh, however the sheets, duvet covers and pillowcases hadn't been ironed so at first we thought the crumpled bedlinen meant that they had already been slept in! They hadn't, of course, but some nicely ironed bedlinen would just improve the look of the lovely clean bedrooms

This is one of the best equipped lets we have used. Exceptional value for money. Town, sea and tesco very short walk, prking for residents outside the house.

Understand the reasoning for not telling us the key code until noon on arrival day but was concerned as booking.com details said code would be sent 24 hours in advance, if details were corrected the no concerns.
