La Casina dei Frati

It was a beautiful house with a pretty garden. Scenery was amazing. Great location for authentic experience of Toscana. It is close to Lucca and Pisa.

We had a lovely stay in this beautiful area of Italy. Although it's hot in August the old stone-building makes your day (and night) without AC. The owners are lovely people and we really recommend to stay here. More than we expected and suited perfect to our style of holidays.

Nothing to complain at all. You just must know that the drive to the place is very scenic and the last 300m are gravel-road (which is absolutely manageable unless you driving a "lowrider" :-) ).

We loved our stay! The gardens and views made the place e feel magical. We enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and eating outside. The kids appreciated the big bedroom to spread out. I loved the primary bedroom with breathtaking views and a cozy bed!

It was perfect

Warm welcome, the owner Toni met us just before the entrance of the driveway to the property which was helpful. The surroundings and gardens were amazing. So quiet and peaceful and just 7 min by car to Lucca. The property itself was immaculate and full of character. Our 4-year-old had a blast in the garden too. Can not fault it.

Nothing, that the week had to end.

Small beds

The location is really beautiful. A lovely garden with an incomparable Tuscan panorama. The house is furnished with many lovely details. Small advice: One definitely needs a car to stay up on the hill. Most of all, the hosts were really kind, understandig and helpful. We are very thankful for our lovely stay.
