We loved our stay at Rathgillen Mews and it exceeded our expectations. Our family visited us from Belfast, while we came from NZ. It was spacious and the owner Peter was really friendly and hospitable. Same for Patch the incredible dog who entertained our kids for hours. The place has lots of entertaining tables. We absolutely loved our stay and can highly recommend it

The beds were comfortable and it was in a very quiet location. Host was good to respond quickly.

The property is very basic. There are 2 double bedrooms and 4 beds in one room upstairs but there were no wardrobes or even an hangar or somewhere to hang your clothes. We lived out of our case on the dining table. The toilet stopped working while we were there but my husband fixed it. The decor is from the 80’s and nothing matched. You couldn’t sit on the 2 seater settee as you fell into the middle. We had lovely patio doors in our bedroom but there was no key to open them! There was no attention to detail all signs sticking with cello tape and crooked, info all tatty and worktop where the tv, WiFi etc was very dusty. It was like the house was filled with donations as nothing matched.
