Comfy,close walk to town and penguin colony. Quiet, good view of ocean. Well-equipped kitchen. Person I was traveling with loved the retro feel of the place.

No dishwasher and unfortunately washing machine was not working. Owner left a note to say previous tenant had broken it and she could not get it replaced in time for our stay. Left a bottle of wine as compensation which we did like.

"The Green Cottage that warms your heart."

Lovely little cottage with amazing view of the harbour. Has toys for kids, books and it was fascinating to read the visitor book and see the lovely paintings by the host that you can purchase with cash, unfortunately we aren’t carting any. The cottage is just perfect and was undeniably our number 1 for the trip. It’s a short stroll away from everything that needs to be done in oamaru and basic stuff like eateries/groceries.

Location was great. View was nice across the harbour.

Could not get in the lockbox on arrival. Spent quite some time troubleshooting to no avail. Noticed key in the door after some tim. Received email advising this at 7:30pm in evening after arriving at 2:30pm. The previous day would have been appreciated. No shampoo or conditioner which was a bit inconvenient. The cottage was very clean and well presented though.
