The Snicketts

Everything spotless. A lovely bright, clean and tastefully decorated accommodation in a quiet setting. A complimentary selection of breakfast items for the first morning (even two eggs) was most welcome, with plenty of tea and instant coffee supplies and fresh milk. Very comfortable double bed and compact ensuite with shower. Lounge space was relaxing and full of light with vaulted ceiling and plenty of space for two people: leather sofa and recliner with TV and bookshelf, kitchen table, nicely equipped kitchenette with cooktop, microwave and a good selection of gadgetry and crockery. Hosts, whose home is next door, were warm, welcoming and helpful, readily available but never intrusive. Easy 15-20 minute walk to the castle and centre of town. Good parking on gravel right next to front door. Pretty exterior with pots and window boxes of flowers.

The folding door to the ensuite was noisy to open and close so at night we didn't operate it so as not to wake each other but this was a minor inconvenience in a really excellent property.

The location of the property was great with easy access to Ludlow. There was a very warm welcome from the host. A complimentary breakfast was provided which was much appreciated. There were good facilities and a very comfortable bed.

Everything was excellent, the only suggestion we would give is that access to recycling facilities/container would be useful.

Good location. We’ve stayed before and liked it. Easy walk into town. Able to park car on site. Nice and quiet. Nice simple complimentary breakfast.

THe provision of breakfast was an added bonus- thank you.

Provision of shampoo as well as shower gel (I think the description said toiletries provided )- but that really is being picky! It was just what we needed.
