Casa Ester e Antonella

Room was nice and cold and dark and private in psite of location very close to beach and other properties etc.

I didnt read the welcome mail in Italian which said to call a number when i arrived, which is my bad as i cant speak Italian and i was in italy, however irrespective of this the property was exceptionally difficult to find - not signed, ended up hot and bothered having a random person on the street help me. It was up four flights of stairs (lift available) in a building with multiple entrances and no signed name on door or obvious address. Hosts were however very quick in arriving when they knew id arrived and once i was in it was excellent. But would have been helpful if it had a sign on the door and another means of getting in rather than calling erson on arrival and waiting (key lock etc). Just my thoughts..

Casa Ester e Antonella is in an amazingly central location of Maiori, so convenient for an easy stay in town and for getting to see other parts of the Amalfi coast. It has stunning views from the front apartment, a beautiful place to sit and unwind. The apartment is really well renovated, clean and tidy with everything you need for a stay. The host is very friendly, accommodating, and responsive — while the host has limited English (our Italian was limited too…), the friendliness and readiness of communication was first rate (and it is nothing that Google translate and some goodwill can’t work through!). We were met at checkin down at the street and shown up to the apartment, as scheduled. We would stay here again without hesitation.

There is nothing that we disliked about our stay.

Electricity tripped if two or more appliances used but it was easily sorted - tricky to find

The property iseasy accessible, spacious and close to supermarkets and the beach. The lift to the 5th floor is convenient.

Although neat, this apartment is only equipped with the bare minimum. We received 1 toilet roll for a 5 night stay. There was no cleaning aids, not even a drying towel. No sharp knives or kettle. For a self catering apartment it is quite difficult to manage without these items. The bin is small and there was no communication about what to do to empty the bins. The elevator seems to be next to the bedroom of Casa Ester and it was quite noisy at night. Be careful to check which apartment you book. We were expecting a front sea view. It seems that apartment Antonella has a full sea view and apartment Ester has two small balconies on the side with a sea view. The pictures are a bit misleading and conmunication only takes place in Italian, which makes it difficult to finalise the type of booking.

When we entered the building, we were like OH NO, ,😳😳WHAT IS THIS.🤭🤭 AND THEN WE ENTERED THE HOUSE, AND WE WERE GOB SMACKED. IT'S AMAZING 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍👍🤩🤩🤩🤩 THANK YOU FOR A BEAUTIFUL AND AMAZING PLACE.

Great spot for the family to spend near a beach in Italy. To make things easier getting to the appartaments, contact with the helpfull Rachel. The appartaments are greatly equiped with everything you need, everything is clean, great place for a family with 2 kids. From the balcony there is a great view of the Maiori beach and the church roof. Nearby there is a supermarket, market road and cafe's. Hope to spent another holiday there.

You CANNOT beat the location!
