The Winning Post is a beautiful property. Clean light and airy, all the facilities you would want as a home from home.. Balcony with access from both bedrooms upstairs, excellent outside space with your own patio and bbq. 3 beautiful bathrooms. The photos really don’t do it justice! Excellent location for travelling around Somerset, 30mins from Longleat, Cheddar Gorge, Wickey Hole etc. 5 min drive to great restaurants, lovely countryside to explore. The host Rachel is lovely and friendly. Would totally recommend!

"Beautiful accommodation in a tranquil setting"

Lovely stay at the winning post. The house was beautiful, peaceful and spotlessly clean. Great amenities, comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and immaculate bathrooms. Only small niggle was we couldn’t get the wifi to work, but as we were out and about all the time enjoying Glastonbury Festival it didn’t impact our stay at all.

The accommodation and grounds were immaculate, a very pleasant place to be for a trip away. Although the house has every you need to cook inside, we made the most of the provided bbq with views over the grounds.
