Fijn verblijf. We hadden alles wat we nodig hadden.

We hadden geen ontbijt

De host wil gasten persoonlijk ontvangen maar vertelt alles in sneltreinvaart en wil verder geen contact dat vinden wij erg vreemd. Dan moet je dat niet willen en een sleutelkastje doen. Ook vonden we de huisregels erg dwingend opgeschreven. Totaal niet gastvrij.

Very well decorated in local style with attention for historical vibes. It's overal a little basic but this did suit the historical atmosphere very well. We loved the wallpaper, historical accurate bed case built in the walls. Curtains and dinnerware are all matching the classical Frisian theme. Kitchen is also very well equipped with induction hob and dishwasher. It's very hard to find any things that can use improvement. If any, the (very small) oven is not really useful for anything more than heating up 2 buns. We really loved this place and would like to go back.

Amazing place to stay on the beautiful countryside just outside of Burgum. The area is very quiet, yet not too far from the village of Burgum where you can find several restaurants and grocery stores. When we arrived we were met by the very friendly hosts who welcomed us to their beautifully renovated vacation home. The place itself is very cozy, yet still more than large enough for our family of four. Inside it's traditionally decorated, yet all modern conveniences are there to be found as well. All in all a lovely place to stay in a very nice area, highly recommended.
