Palazzo Altavilla

We loved the large suite-style nature of the room. More like an apartment, with plenty of space and nice views out to sea. Staying in Lucia’s palazzo was like staying with your favourite aunt - impeccable traditional decor, she wants to feed you up at breakfast and make sure you have a fabulous time, but there are rules too!

The light in the bathroom was amazing for make-up but sadly there was no window to open, just a personal preference for fresh air. There were a lot of rules about the swimming pool, so for fear of doing the wrong thing we just didn’t bother going for a swim.

Well located, beautiful and spacious, clean rooms and stunning garden with the best breakfast.

Everything! Lucia was so lovely and her staff are amazing. My room was spacious and comfortable and so local to everything in Ostuni

We loved this historic building and the location was excellent. The pool area was beautiful and we all loved the tortoises, cats and dogs! Everything was impeccably clean and all the staff were very friendly. I loved Lucia’s homemade jams! Rather randomly it was an unexpected bonus to listen from our bedroom to Morrissey performing at a concert in Ostuni while we were there!

In our apartment the aircon was in the kitchen part only so didn’t really reach to the bedroom and it got quite hot. Also it would be nice to sit out by the pool a little later since it’s such a relaxing area

Het personeel was heel vriendelijk en heel behulpzaam. Ze hebben ons zelfs opgehaald van het vliegveld. De locatie is perfect (centrum Ostuni) en het zwembad groter dan we hadden verwacht. Kamer erg ruim en authentiek. Einde van de straat zit ook een bushalte waarmee je naar Alberobello kunt, het strand, of naar het station om de trein te pakken naar bijv Monopolie, Bari of Lecce.

We had a great time here. The apartment was beautiful, 2 minute walk from the historical area of Ostuni. Our host was very helpful and the pool was a refreshing treat, much bigger than we expected!

The property was beautiful. It was very Italian with large rooms and beautiful furniture. Lovely quality. There was good working air con and the beds were comfortable. The rooms were cleaned every day and the staff were very friendly. The owners Sergio and Lucia were extremely welcoming and hospitable. They made our stay really comfortable. Nothing was too much trouble for them. We used Sergio to take us to wine tasting and they collected us from the airport on late arrival. The pool area was beautiful, very clean and relaxing. The location was perfect, just 2 mins walk from the centre. The breakfasts were substantial and great cappuccinos! Croissants, omelettes, yoghurts, muesli, fruit. We loved it and any chance to visit Ostuni again, I will definitely return to Palazzo Altavilla, a beautiful hotel, in a beautiful location with beautiful staff and owners. The amabilité of the owner, the géographic situation on the historic center of Ostuni. The size of the flat and moreover the pool area in the Heart of Ostuni. A place where you feel like home!
