The Cedars, Cromer, a 7.5 minute walk to the beach

Great property, 4 bedrooms, 2 with en-suite. 5th bedroom is actually the living room so a bit misleading but could be fine if blinds were put up at the small windows. Hot tub was great and the outside seating areas were fabulous.

Needs a bit of TLC, decoration wise, cleaning could be improved but nothing that stopped us having a great time.

It is not a 5 bedroom house even though it’s advertised as one. Elderly mother in law had to sleep on sofa with no blinds or curtains - no towels provided. No blinds downstairs so no privacy from people in the accommodation next door. Couldn’t use the freezer as needed defrosting.

The location was great and the bedrooms were lovely and comfortable.

Even after paying the extra charge, the hot tub was not ready for use until the second day of our visit, as it wasn’t warm enough. Midweek, we noticed the water had turned green and lacked any chlorine smell. When we queried this with the Agency they assured that it was safe to use, however, we ordered our own tests that showed the chemical levels were completely off, with no chlorine present, making it unsafe. We had to hire a local firm ourselves to rectify this issue, as the property management could not send anyone until the following day, costing us more money and another day of lost use. The company have now reimbursed us for the cost of the hot tub and the company we had out to clean it, however this required several emails and calls to chase them! The overall cleanliness was adequate however, there were issues such as mouldy shower heads, dirty tables and bins.

We were very disappointed that this was in fact a 4 bedroom house, with the 5th being a sofa bed in the lounge and not all the windows having curtains I can't see how this qualifies as a bedroom! We specifically booked this as it was stated in the description as a "5-bedroom holiday home" furthermore the bins outside were overflowing and some inside hadn't been emptied! No bin bags and only 1 dishwasher tablet provided. The floor in the lounge was uneven and bowed which was a slip hazard. All in all it did not meet our expectations. I also reached out to the owner twice before the holiday with questions and they didn't reply.

The size of the property was a good size for our party and the fact it was dog friendly was great. It was in a good location, not far from the Town centre and beach.

We believed the property was to be a five bedroom property, however realised when we arrived that the 5th room was the living room. Not all of the windows in the living room had blinds, therefore it made it very uncomfortable to sleep in. We paid for the hot tub but found it very difficult to use/heat up. There was no manual or instructions for it and when we contacted the management company via booking.com and Facebook messenger, we did not receive a reply & still haven’t had one to this day. No one answered the phone and when visiting the office, it was closed. The biggest disappointment was the double bedroom next to the bunk bed room. This room had not been cleaned. The bed was absolutely covered under the covers & on top with black dog hairs and there was coke bottles and cans all under the bed. We have taken photos of this. Our dog is an apricot colour Cavapoo, so we know the hairs were not our dogs, plus she is not allowed to sleep on beds. We wanted to get clean bedcovers but again couldn’t get hold of the management company. The bbq was absolutely filthy. The grill was clean, however the fat at the bottom of the bbq was so bad, that all of our food burnt and it was constantly on fire. We have a video to show the bbq was switched off but the flames were very high. Food was left over in fridge and bread bin from previous occupiers.

Great location, well equipped kitchen, comfy garden seating area by hot tub. Photos are good but it's much better in the flesh.

No toilet paper. Possibly an oversight as everything else was excellent!
