Nice apartment. It was a little confusing as we rented it because it was 3 bedroom and our children wanted their own rooms but when we arrived they had locked one. They opened it on request.

There was no living room area so it was a little uncomfortable having to sit at the kitchen table the whole time with no where to relax. Also having opened the third bedroom for us they then suggested we should not have used the bed. I thought we had rented the whole apartment so we felt a bit unclear and worried about this.

Everything. It was close to the Piazza, the Ruins, and eateries. The owner was helpful and accommodating at every turn. I’d recommend these folks to everyone

The ONLY negative is that the mattress in the bedroom was a bit uncomfortable but we have come to realize that these are not mattresses like the States.

Het appartement is groot en comfortabel. Hoewel Booking ons niet had laten weten dat we extra moesten betalen voor de 3e slaapkamer in het appartement en ook niet dat het op de 3e etage lag, was dat allebei niet onoverkomelijk. De ligging t.o.v. restaurants, bars en de opgravingen is perfect. Doordat het in een achteraf straatje gelegen is, is het erg rustig. Absoluut een aanrader!!!

The bedrooms were very spacious, very comfortable. The beds were wonderful. The closets were wonderful. We were able to use the washer. You will need to hang your clothes on the line outside the deck. It’s a cultural experience! The kitchen was fully stocked. There are no ice cube trays, however. But you can make your own ice cubes by putting water in a cup freezing it and thawing it. The owner was fantastic. He communicated with us regularly through WhatsApp. He arranged for transportation for us to get to our tours.. He helped us with our luggage up the 46 stairs from the street to the apartment.

1) We had two incidents of the circuit breakers overloading. However, we contacted the owner and he fixed it right away. The first time was when we had both air conditioner units on, and the washer, and one hairdryer at use at the same time. The second time the circuits went off we only had the two air conditioners on. 2) THE KEYS TO GET IN AND OUT! The first time we left the apartment to walk out to dinner, it took about seven minutes to figure out how to open the deadlocks. Make sure the owner gives you a tutorial of how to work the keys before he leaves you. Then when we came back in, I told my friend she had 10 minutes to get the door open and she did it in nine minutes and 30 seconds! 3) Please be aware that the property has 46 steps straight up to get from the street level to the apartment. This is not in the description that is on booking.com. It’s referred to as a house with a deck that has a view of Mount Vesuvius. It is not a house. It is a two bedroom apartment. The third bedroom was locked. There is a small balcony off one of the bedrooms that is on the west side of the building so to sit there to be able to look at the view of the church and the volcano would be very uncomfortable.

Nice flat in the middle of town, 2 minute walk from the station and 10 from the ruins. Very reasonable cost, helpful and friendly hosts and free parking.

Not really problems, but things to be aware of: 1. the parking is quite tight and down a narrow dead end street. I coped but I wouldn't want to try it in an SUV. 2. it says 3 bedrooms but they aren't all unlocked. See other reviews.

This flat was very clean and located centrally, with very good communication from the host at all times.

The mattresses could be more comfortable, and the shower doors leaked water on to the bathroom floor but it wasn't a problem to clear it up.
