Fantastic place. Comfortable and clean. Great views.

Family of 9 including a toddler came to stay here. It is located right by the lake with beautiful views to wake up to! It’s walking distance to the lake boat ride too. Hakone is a quiet town so the town itself is small but the property is huge, good amenities, easy to get to by car and comfortable. We bought food from a supermarket before driving to the location and enjoyed a meal on the day. The single washing machine + dehumidifier helped us massively to wash and dry clothes after a long trip. There is a fridge, rice cooker, cooker, all the things you would need to make simple meals. Didn’t notice any salt / pepper though could be wrong.

The location of the property was good and spacious, it is next to lake Ashi, the lake was beautiful and very close to all the attractions, like Hakone Shine & Owakudani. It is a big house, can fit in our big group. We cooked our dinner there, the kitchen was big like a commercial kitchen, love the big dining table.

There was a mouldy smell in the living room, I wouldnt recommend old people to stay because there were uneven floor surface upstair, easy to trip and fall.

Lots of space, clean bedrooms and beds; three toilets, big living room, couch, and eating area. Location was great being right by the lake and close to local attractions.

The kitchen countertop and floor were not clean. I stepped on something sticky in the kitchen wearing my socks.

Big and comfortable bedrooms and living room and dining room. Good location and good view of the lake.

One toilet: cannot flush with water. Part of the stairs does not have handrail, and can be risky especially for seniors. Some area of the house has dust. Barbecue stove is expensive.
