Te Kopua - Acacia Bay Holiday Home

I loved the location. The house was clean. It was nice to see the lake from the front deck. The location was quiet and peaceful. Great Thai Restaurant 5 minutes drive away, the shops with the little walk way mall and the Thai Restaurant was at the back of the shops. Also it was nice as a short stroll down the Road to the lake front, got some great pics there looking over towards the main Lake Front in Taupo. Would stay there again for sure.

It was hard to find the property as the number of the house was not outside so I ended up going to the big house next door closest to the lake and the lady said it was next door at the front of the property. Better signs out the front would of been good. Also the wifi was not working at all there was something wrong with the modem. Rang to let booking.com know but no one came to fix it while we were there. Luckily my friend had a spare modem so we got the wifi working with that one.

Great location and comfortable house. Great staff and attention trying to rectify an issue with internet access.

Position was fantastic, 3min walk to the lake.

Dining room table needs some attention, very unstable. Water leak damage above the fireplace, with roof tiles warped, no clear street numbering at driveway entrance with house number obscured by trees.

Location was okie

Our toilet was backed up from when we got there couldn’t use the shower. the drain from the toilet was over flowing onto the driveway

The holiday bach was even better than the photos. Everything we needed was there. Very comfortable. And it's a great location, right next the trail that follows the lake around to Acacia Bay.

We could have done with a bit more firewood for a cold couple of days.

Peaceful location close to the lake

Delightful location and even though the house is small it contained everything that we needed. It was a pleasure to walk a short distance to the end of the road and stroll along a lakeside walkway. We enjoyed sitting on the deck in the private well tended garden.

The multiple automated emails sent prior to our visit were confusing. I had to plough through screeds of repetitive messages to even find out how to get the key. Also we were confused about our rubbish produced by our stay, whether we could leave it or had to take it with us.

Clean, comfy and warm. Had everything we needed. Heaps of lawn for the boys to play rugby. Great walking distance to the lake for little legs.
