Mildreds Lodge with Hot Tub

Spacious. Very close to the park for the kids.

Wasps. There were so many but not sure the owners could do anything about that. Hot tub jets were not very powerful. We would stay again.

The property was clean, modern and a perfect fit for our family stay

The mattress on the single beds were comfortable but feels like you are going to slide out of bed as they slope. Could do with a gate at the entrance to the property to contain the dogs

Was very spacious. Had all essentials, washing liquid, tea towels, towels, hand-wash, shower gel etc. Also a few tea bags, sugars and coffee. And was lovely of them to put a small bottle of milk in the fridge for arrival. Hot tub was great, we all loved it.

Very hot inside, could have done with a fan. WiFi was not worth the money as it hardly worked, this should be included. Took ages to load anything and sometimes didn't load at all. And we couldn't have the doors open all the time as there we wasps.

The lodge is spacious clean and comfy and location perfect for what we were looking for.

Communication with the owner. Was asked to send £200 damage deposit over which would be refunded when inspected. I waited 14 days from departure for the refund and still hadn't received payment. Tried numerous times to contact owner but was ignored i then had no choice but to contact booking.com and within 24hours I was refunded. I would of booked this lodge again but because of the lack of communication about getting the damage deposit back I won't be using these services again.

This is my 4th stay at this site and my Second time in Mildreds lodge, The lodge is very spacious, clean and has everything you need.
