Giardino Botanico

Great, convenient location. Also spacious and cozy apartment. With everything you need for a perfect stay. Helpful and kind host who provided many useful information which made our arrival smooth.

We had an incredible stay in Giardino Botanico, in Ragusa Ibla. The apartment is in the heart of the historic center, with all the bars and restaurants near by, and the host was very kind. The apartment itself was spotlessly clean, cozy, and modern, providing the perfect retreat for us

Once we read the instructions properly, entry was a snap. Unfortunately, we were tired and uncertain about our parking situation. Once that was resolved, everything went smoothly. It was a charming property in a lovely location.

Our on ineptitude in understanding the written instructions and understanding local parking ordinances. Once we translated the parking signs, the stay was delightful.

Great location. Clean, good water pressure in the shower, a real hair dryer available to use.

Cristina was a wonderful host and gave us tons of information including local music events in town. It is located right in front of the Garden and it was easy to tell a taxi where to go or where to be picked up at. Iudice Pasticcere, the best patisserie in town is next door!

Mattress was softer than we prefer.

The location is excellent - right when you get up the hill and enter the town, next to the gardens and church. There is a small balcony that allows you to observe the lively street, an activity that made us feel like locals. We had an issue with hot water, but Christina was very responsive and resolved the problem quickly. We also appreciated the coffee machine with plenty of capsules. All in all, a good value stay.

The bed is made of a very soft sponge, not great if you prefer firmer beds. Parking can be an issue, but this is the case everywhere in Ragusa Ibla. There are some free spots nearby, but they are always full. Don't park on the street in front the apartment, there are no white lines and we saw cops ticketing cars every day. There is a paid parking lot close by (0.9€/h), but it also fills up fast. However, there are a lot of white (free) parking spots on the road that leads up to Ibla from the other side, if you don't mind a 10min walk up hill.
