Winterberry Barn

Easy to find and a great location. Nice and quiet and the house was stunning from outside to inside. Everything we needed was there, and the hot tub was lovely and easy to use.

This accommodation was lovely. Lots of privacy, lots of beautiful space, we were both very happy with this. Complimentary Prosecco and a few biscuits etc was a lovely touch

I believe the bed was two singles pushed together as it was uncomfortable in the middle with it dipping down. I would have liked some cleaning bits, as we couldn’t find any washing up liquid, tablets for the dish washer or spray/wipes for the sides, it would have been nicer to be able to clean but luckily we kept it rather tidy and we only cooked once

What an amazing place for a relaxing break! Everything about Winterberry Barn was special. We met one of the hosts (John) not long after arrival as he was sorting out logs for the hot tub and firepit which was great as we were able to introduce ourselves and have a quick chat. After this we were left to our own devices but we knew, had we had needed him he would have been more than happy to help. Winterberry Barn is exceptionally clean and tidy. We used the hot tub on both evenings (on one evening it was raining but that made it even more of an experience). As it was coming up to the Halloween season, they really go all out with decorating the grounds. If you want a cosy, quiet and peaceful break make sure you book the Winterberry Barn!

Everything was perfect- bed was very comfortable. All the facilities were spot on. This place is just petfect

A great property for a couple, spacious and modern feel with all the amenities. Plenty of art around to give it a unique feel. Wood heated hot tub was excellent, if very hot! Despite other properties nearby it has a private feel due to the fencing around the outside space. Plenty of seating outside to enjoy a morning coffee. They’d given us prosecco to welcome us, and a good selection of breakfast snacks. Clear communication when responding to questions.

John and Suzy looked after us well, they were very accommodating. The place was quiet and secluded but easy to find.

We received a warm and friendly welcome from the host which set the tone for the stay. The property is beautifully appointed with lots of thoughtful touches and reliable technology (including all sorts of interesting lighting). The first impression was a "wow" and the standard was maintained throughout our stay.

Our stay exceeded our expectations in all respects. There was nothing that we didn't like and we hope to stay there again in the near future.
