Great location and lots of household equipment that some properties lack.

Traditional property with not much light inside. It was clean on arrival but it would have been better to have a working mop and bath mats to keep floors cleaner during stay. Patio felt a little exposed as gate was broken, but a very quiet street.

Extra amenities, a host who spoke great English, a well-equipped home, good location.

We liked that there were lots of thoughtful items in the accommodation, ie cleaning items for the washing machine, dishwasher etc. Also, items available for use at the beach, ie parasol, beach games. Furniture was comfortable, bathrooms were well decorated. The upstairs outside balcony has a glass table, four chairs with cushions and a parasol - this area was well used by us. The hosts were always available and very quick to respond to any queries. The location was ideal for getting to either Salema beach or walking over the back of Salema and across to one of 3 beaches that were accessible via off-road tracks.

We didn’t find the double bed very comfortable. Being in Salema in early September we found ourselves surrounded by lots of building work near to us and further up the road at one of the resorts. That is the downside of a building work ban throughout August.

Location.

Air conditioner in living rooms did not work throughout stay. kitchen not well equipped. 2 wine glasses for 4 people. Instructions to open and close gates not clear.We were locked out. House address not indicated. We had to figure it out by looking at photos.

The location is fabulous!! It’s within walking distance to Salema centro. Nice restaurants, friendly and helpful locals and the beach!! Just gorgeous. Maria has had a lot of upgrades done and the tile work and plaster have been skillfully upgraded. There is an ocean view from the east facing bedroom and a nice private terrace with the same view. Very very comfortable accommodations overall.

The location

The host needs to póst the house number outside in the house somewhere. Difficult to find without knowing which house.

The location was great, fantastic sunsets and sunrises, good restaurants in town. Cooking facilities well thought out. Clothes washer a great plus… clean clothes for the rest of the trip!

The glass top stove was a little hard to figure out.
