Very spacious inside and the garden. Close to shops petrol station and beauty spots. Away from town centre hustle and bustle. Lots of cute and quirky honestly boxes around. Hosts we very helpful.

It was difficult to eat out as most places closed at 5pm or travel far afield. We bought food to cook at the house to get around this.

"We would go back anytime!"

8.0

A wonderful, peaceful stay in a beautiful setting. All the comforts of home are provided for and the house, rooms, garden are spacious. An easy walk to the beautiful beach and harbour and the best cheesecake ever at the neighbouring Wobbly Dog cafe.

We had issues with hot water for the first few nights but the owners went out of their way to get it repaired as quickly as possible and sent us a fabulous goodie bag from the local store to apologise for the inconvenience.

"Perfect week by the sea"

9.0

Spacious property, We could park the car in the back garden . lots of space, bedrooms very spacious and beds really comfortable. Living room was warm when we arrived which was lovely. It was a cosy room to relax in after a day outside. Kitchen was well equipped , really appreciated dishwasher and washing machine and tumble dryer (at the back door) . Heating was through new individual room heaters . Windows had been replaced recently and dining room very recently redecorated. Price was excellent value for 3 bed house in high season Local people were friendly and welcoming and enthusiastic about local history , culture and language . This really helps make a holiday a good holiday. The house is a few minutes cycle ride away from Eoropie beach and a little further to Port Ness. We had delicious meals out in Cross Inn and Breakwater . The Ness Historical centre is well worth a visit, great cafe , welcoming staff happy to help me practise Gaelic , great exhibitions and shop. we were easily able to cycle to all of these and didnt use the car except to get to Carloway and to and from Stornoway.

There was nothing significant, a bit of a musty smell in the rear hallway but windows easily opened .
