Such a beautiful and restful place! We enjoyed our stay immensly and are greatfull to the very kind owner for sharing this spot of beauty with others. The wonderful and creative items in the house, all comfort available and the beautiful well kept sloapy garden with romantic seat with a beautiful view. Last but not least the ever so healing sound of the sea, the beautiful and nearly private beach. We were able to walk to the very impressive Altar Wedge Tomb and visit the very simple and beautiful Altar Churge dating back to the famine. Lovely towns as Schull and Clonakilty with boat trips to interesting islands very accessible. Thankyou Birgit, were hoping to be back with you!

Muckle Flugga is high on our list of happy places. It is set in a beautiful spot. The garden is extensive, imaginatively designed and well kept. Our accommodation was comfortable and spotlessly clean and our hostess a pleasure to deal with.

The cooking and washing space was a little tight but the other advantages of the property were such that this was only a small drawback.

It was a lovely simple property. Suited our needs very well for the value. So we were very happy. Beautiful art work in the property. Owner was very kind. The little swimming cove nearby was a great treat.

Property is in a lovely location with a small beach only 200 yards away and is only a 10 minute drive from Schull town. Also had lovely garden facilities to relax in. Interior of house is very cozy and unique in style with a lovely selection of books to browse through. Birgit is a lovely host and we enjoyed meeting herself (and her mother on morning of departure). Hopefully if we get the opportunity to visit again we can see Birgit's textile studio on site.

The cooking area is quite small but we managed to work around this and it wouldn't deter us from staying again. Access to the upstairs bedroom would not be suitable for young children but this is evident from photos posted with the advertisement.
