Zidanica Jakše - Vineyard Cottage

As described the house is small, but fully equipped and very comfortable. It was very nice to meet owners family while they came to work on their wineyard, and the owner is very warm and attentive. Thank you very much!!! For drivers who don't speak Slovenian: there is a U-turn on their street, just continue along Smuška street for another 50 m. When you see the place, you'll understand... :-)

We had the most lovely stay at the Vineyard Cottage 😊 Anja and her husband are, honestly, the most hospitable, kind and attentive hosts we've had. They considered every detail inside this cosy cottage so we easily found anything we needed during our stay. The bed is very comfortable, we slept really well! The kitchen and the bathroom are well equipped, the kids rooms upstairs is simply delightful (full of toys and games and storage spaces, a very imaginative kid's space 🥰 and the view from the balcony is incredible! You can see the whole city, the owners wineyard and the mountains and you have the whole cottage to yourself. There is an outdoor terrace and a dedicated parking space. It's quiet, safe and the hosts gave us complimentary white wine from their wineyard which was delightful! Plenty of things to do and see nearby especially if you are outdoorsy and like nature (hikes, cycling, swimming in the surprisingly warm river near by) and just a peaceful place to rest, recharge and enjoy your time ☺️ I highly recommend this accommodation!

The view - amazing. The location as a base for exploring.

Quiet, peaceful, cosy, amazing view, amazing nature. Everything is just right for a good vacation ! And the host Anja will tell you everything what you can see and where to go. All in all would recommend !

The only thing I did not like was, how time flied so fast when we were there enjoying our vacation.

The house was very comfortable and has an absolutely amazing view. Great place to relax and see Bela Krajina from!

We missed some relax chears to sit outsite.

The cottage has everything you need for a smooth vacation. Kitchenette, living room with a sofa and TV, AC, bedroom and additional bedroom on the attic. The location is perfect, just a few mins from Semič city center. If you enjoy peace and quiet, this is definitely the place for you. Ms Anja is very knowledgeable about the things to do in Bela Krajina.
