Casa à Porta do Torreão

Perfect location, right next to the old town and restaurants. The entire house is fully equipped and available to guests. It's a bit old-fashioned, but you feel like you're in a real portuguese home. We loved it. A big plus is the Via Algavrina trail maps available for guests.

Emplacement permettant de découvrir la ville aisément, facilité d accès au logement, confortable et cuisine bien équipée, très propre, autonomie puisque boite à clefs sécurisée. Non accessible aux PMR, escalier pour accéder à la chambre et les toilettes.

Pièce principale sombre, nécessite d'avoir la lumière artificielle en permanence, décoration kitsch, emplacement de parking limité dans la rue et en bas de celle ci.

Le lit peu confortable.

In walking distance to restaurants and castle. 35 minutes drive to major cities.

Could not cook our meal, oven surface did not work. Had to eat out at 100% Very noisy till 02h00 Friday night but we do have to admit that we still enjoyed the surroundings.

The location was perfect. The size was perfect for a couple. We did not have cooked meals but there was good provision in cooking pots pans and utensils.

The decor is dated and it’s dark without some lights on during the day. I had the shutters fully open and of course the light was much better. The bed was comfortable, but better pillows, the plump ball type pillows are nit, not good. Also, the towels are pretty old.
