Stallen - koselig lite hus på gårdstun

We booked Stallen! Excellent location to start with. A very smart way to handle keys on arrival, each cottage had a board on which they wrote the total count and name of the main guest. So it did not require any interaction with the owner upon arrival! Inside they provided their phone number to contact them for anything special you need, so no problem at all. Very cozy and well eqiupped kitchen upstairs. We missed a microwave though, we are so used to with the gadgets nowadays! the bedrooms and bathroom were all downstairs, which was a bummer for us as we were with elders with paining legs but otherwise should be fine! We had bunk beds and a double bed. Of course the double bed was more comfortable but we were prepared for that! We had a cloudy/rainy day otherwise the garden area is super nice! The view is to die for, the surroundings is quiet and if you by chance meet anyone they were very polite and frindly!

We liked everything! But a microwave in the kitchen would have been great!

The farm setting is super charming and each cabin has its own original and warm touches. The views over the surrounding valley are breathtaking, could sit and look outside of the windows for hours!

Given the old facility, there were some inconveniences. The doors and floors are super squeaky and it was impossible to not wake up the entire house when you go to bathroom at night. The top floor gets hot very quick so we had to open the windows to ventilate, but because there was no net on the windows we were invaded by more than 10 flies within a few minutes. Some linen and cushions in the living room could use some more cleaning and care.

I cannot put a finger on it, but we enjoyed our stay. Authentic, clean and functional, everything we needed.

Our host went over the top to give us a great holiday. The location had a great view and it was cute and clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this quaint and unique property.

Not much to complain about.
