Quinta da Baleeira

Great, comfortable, clean house and an absolutely stunning garden (if you are into gardening, you will be amazed). Kitchen is very well equipped so you can easily cook for your family (especially if you are traveling with kids). Swimming pool has great views and comfortable pool beds. There are two (new and clean) washing machines that can be used by guests. All in all an amazing place for a family holiday (we were traveling with 2 and 5 year old), but also great for a romantic getaway (there is a roof terrace where you can have a glass of wine and watch the day go by).

It would have been great if there would be and option to have breakfast at the accommodation (but that’s our preference when traveling with kids). As there is a fully equipped kitchen you can make your own and eat outside which is also great BUT sometimes it is nice to have it made for you :)

The location was stunning, the wild flowers were beautiful. We really enjoyed the salt water pool and the club house.

We loved every minute of our stay at Quinta da Baleeira. Communication with staff prior to our arrival was very good and we received a very warm welcome from the on-site host, Carolina, the moment we entered through the gates. Throughout our stay, Carolina helped us out with everything we needed. Quinta da Baleeira is situated just outside Tavira and forms the perfect base for exploring the Algarve. It's a small-scale resort where guests, fortunately, are not just a room number. Quinta da Baleeira has all the facilities a young family (1 & 3 years old) could ask for. During our stay (early May), it was a very calm and serene place. We would definitely come back!

Lovely accommodation, it feels you are in beautiful countryside but you are only 5 min away from Tavira! Carolina was super friendly and we had a fantastic stay!

Only a minor thing, but it would be good if their bar could operate a “honest bar” policy, and that we could grab a drink or coffee and pay when there is no one to serve.

Property manager was excellent. Great greeting, local information and assistance while staying at the property.

Great location with very nice decent-sized infinity pool. Excellent on site facilities with all amenities including washing machine, laundry liquid, iron and ironing board. Friendly staff. Plenty of on-site parking.

Gorgeous grounds and lovely swimming pool. Also the friendly and help host. The location was good for us, but you need a car
