North Coast Property - North Coast Cottage

Sehr gemütlich und sauber. Es hatte genug Platz. Das Haus ist mitten in der Stadt und trotzdem an ruhiger Lage.

We stayed for only one night before catching the ferry from Scrabster to Orkney. The apartment we extremely spacious, comfortable, and clean. Restaurants and grocery stores were well within walking distance. Some were even right around the corner. There was ample parking right outside the apartment.

das Apartment ist noch nicht fertig renoviert. vieles ist sehr alt. das „Kinderzimmer“ ist viel zu klein. die Betten sind schmal und sehr weich. im Badezimmer ist beim Waschtisch Warm&Kalt getrennt!?? … entweder Hände verbrennen oder kalt. in der Dusche gibt es freie Warm und Kaltwasser Leitungen .

Everything was great, exactly as described, and as in the photos. There were board games to keep us entertained. The kitchen was a decent size with all the utensils and cutlery. There was a wee garden at the back to dry our clothes. The property was clean on arrival. We requested a cot and it was provided. The location was perfect, very close to Thurso main center and all the attractions. There was a very helpful guide book in the living room, from which we found options to order takeout for dinner. Communication was prompt and courteous. We arrived a little bit earlier due to adverse weather conditions and the hosts accomodated this with no problem. Overall, very happy with the experience.

The owners were very responsive. Their welcome material conveyed a real love for Thurso and the area, causing me to wish we could stay longer! The home was clean and comfortable, a perfect base for exploring northern Scotland and the northern isles.
