GBWe loved the location and its absolutely breathtaking if you want to totally switch off and just get back to being with nature this is the place and this is from someone who lives with owls and squirrels in our garden ! I loved it we took our two boys with us (dogs to some ) Dexter is a 12 year old english sheepdog and he found it had lots of cool places and lots of flat ground walks so we could just wander about Loved seeing the hives and the garden is full of those busy bees who truly don't bother you inside is complete to a high standard and the fridge is very quirky ! Bedrooms good bathroom lovely everything spot on well done to the host Joe and his partner who if I remember rightly is John Would we go back ..... that's a big YES
The only issue is the stairs which are a little steep but considering the age of the property we worked with it
GBBeautiful cottage in stunning surroundings. It was peaceful and just what we wanted. The cottage is homely and cozy with great facilities. The bed was very comfortable. Joe was very welcoming.

GBGBThe cottage is beautifully decorated ( a real designer triumph - the themed decor and colour schemes are inspired!) Everything was provided for our comfort and enjoyment - even binoculars to enjoy the view!

GBAn Absolute Hidden Gem – Perfect Peace & Charm!" We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect stay! This darling cottage is a true retreat—tucked away in the quiet countryside, surrounded by stunning open fields. The moment we arrived, we felt at home; it’s incredibly cosy, with a warmth that makes it hard to leave. The highlight for us was the amazing fireplace—there’s nothing like curling up in front of it after a day of exploring. And the vintage fridge (how is it 70 years old and still working?!) added such a unique, nostalgic touch to the cottage’s character. The location is ideal if you’re looking for peace and tranquility, yet it’s still within easy reach of local attractions. The owners were so lovely—friendly, helpful, and clearly passionate about making guests feel welcome. If you want a charming, quiet escape with heaps of personality, this is the place. We’re already dreaming of our next visit!
