The Castle House

Lovely and homely. Great for parking in great location opposite castle. Spotless clean and full of kitchen equipment. Comfortable lounge area and very comfortable beds. Lovely neighbours both sides of property.

The fact there were lots of do's and don't but mostly don't.Not allowed to leave dogs alone.Felt neighbours were keeping a check on us to make sure we didnt leave the dogs or make a noise.Had to provide details of everyone staying, even ages of the dogs before we were given key code.Didnt receive key code number until way after check in.No dog treats on arrival as promised.We left a day early.This is definitely not a dog friendly house.2 gates on the stairs and awkward entry to the house made for a very stressful stay with 2 pugs who are used to following us everywhere.

Location was perfect for our wedding at the castle, an ideal little house with everything we needed (except salt & pepper)

Hallway was a little tight and dull

The location was great - outside the busy town centre, and directly opposite the entrance to Sneaton Castle (which has an excellent restaurant!), and the EV charger was great for us.

We would have found a dishwasher more useful than the washing machine, but others might have the opposite view?

Great communication from hosts. Private off street parking, enclosed garden ideal for dogs, spacious rooms, well equipped kitchen.

The walk back from the town centre was a bit harder than I realised with it being hilly. Didn't spoil our trip though.
