"The cottage was neat, clean and tidy. Everything needed was thoughtfully supplied."

7.0

Location good for visiting beautiful beaches, rivers and towns in Northumberland and Scotland. Wooler has some good coffee shops and a local bakery. Also lots of pubs and churches. A very nice gift of wine, cheese and biscuits was left for us. Also milk was in the fridge.

The garden at Cheviot cottage was not suitable for dogs. Although exclusive to the cottage, the back of the house did not open directly onto the garden which didn't have a gate and was 'open plan ' with the other cottages in the terrace. The garden also needed a bit of TLC.

Very clean and comfortable cottage. Great location. Really quiet. Private garden. Hosts left cheese, wine, milk and biscuits, such a nice welcome. Great for walkers and to use as a base to explore Northumberland.

"Perfect stay in an excellent location"

10.0

Lovely cottage in an excellent location for exploring Northumberland, particularly the Cheviots and the beautiful coast. Immaculate when we arrived, parking was easy and had everything you would need for a relaxing and comfortable holiday. We walked up in to the Cheviots from the nearby St Cuthberts Way (which runs through the town), beautiful walk. Would also recommend the boat trips from Seahouses to see the bird life/seals on the nearby islands - we were very lucky and had dolphins leaping out of the waves around the boat, magic. The town has good facilities - loved the holiday, the cottage and the location. Thanks to the hosts.

Really nothing to complain about.
