Tavira-Quinta da Janela Azul

The place and gardens are beautiful and peaceful, outside the city, yet close to Tavira. The swimming pool is refreshing.

The location was lovely and very quiet. The area is nice to walk about and the pool is great too.

The stay was too short and will be back

We loved that it was a working farm. It was quiet, remote and beautiful.

We didn’t like that the water & electricity were undependable. We had a few issues with the electric gate too. We felt that the apt. was too stripped down. There could of been more towels, sheets on the beds as comforters are too hot. There could have been used books in English and other languages and perhaps board games, cards etc. The one chair, although lovely, was quite uncomfortable. Also, you should have a huge container on site for garbage. You are a working farm and could probably use one anyway.

The property is a renovated farmhouse. All apartments - we stayed in a ground floor 2 bedroom apartment. Could be really lovely .. it’s a work in progress. Beds where comfy.

The ground floor apartment was a little damp ( smell damp as you walk in) and the bathroom is too small for 4 people. Pool and pool area was nice but there where lots of wasps on the grass ( maybe a nest too close?) so we couldn’t relax around the pool.

Good location- close enough to Tavira for shops / restaurants but in a quiet country area. Pool lovely, clean - kids had so much fun there. Good communication from managers. Basic but absolutely sufficient equipment for cooking at home.

Needs more lighting in car park area at night for people less sure of their footing.
