Ken and Leonie are great hosts, contactable before and during our stay with any queries we had. They agreed to let us access the house early before the standard check-in time as it was ready. We arrived early in to Wanaka so this was very much appreciated. The house is lovely. In a nearly 4-week trip, it was the accommodation where we felt most like we were at home. The bedrooms are lovely, 2 of them have views of the mountains. The kitchen is easy to use with lots of useful utensils. The sofas are very comfortable too. A great spot for some much needed relaxation time. It's just a short drive into the town for access to supermarket, bakery and great restaurants.

Great place, lovely and warm, clean and quiet. Everything you could need was there.

The only thing letting it down is the shower water pressure is a little on the low side I'm guessing due to being changed to a sliding removable shower head. Don't get me wrong I've had a lot worse and I wouldn't it put me off from returning to this property.

This cottage is perfect and well priced for a family! Ken was an amazing host and responsive to all our needs immediately via text, which was really impressive and made it so easy. Lazy Daze is close enough to Wanaka town centre so our kids could walk in when we were not around, and the lock box made it easy to store the key for when they came home at any time. Everyone knew the code and could come as they please. Everything we needed for cooking was there, but it would have been great to have a toast sandwich press maker so we could make toasties. Also the washer dryer doesn't dry clothes well even when we put one thing in there. I'd heard from friends that have one, that they aren't great at drying clothes so this is no reflection on the property, just a heads up that this wasn't an option to dry our clothes. We ended up hanging our clothes on the indoor clothes rack and they dried overnight in front of the fire which worked well too. The fire was amazing with plenty of wood and heated the entire cottage easily, with the 2 bedrooms having their own heaters for extra warmth which we utilised on some colder days. The TV was great with both Netflix and Neon to watch so we loved having that option after a long day on the snowfields and mountain biking. The backyard was big enough to kick the footy and enjoy some fresh air and outside time. Really not much to fault with this property and we would definitely stay there again!!

Not much as stated above. Just a toasted sandwich press for making toasties. And a separate dryer to dry clothes easily in.
