Lazy Daze

We had a wonderful week staying at Lazy Daze. The house is in a brilliant location, quiet and away from the hustle and bustle of town but only a short walk to the lake and an awesome playground nearby for little kids. The house has everything you need for preparing meals, and is well stocked with basics. The queen size beds were very comfortable, the house was clean and tidy with a great enclosed back yard and table for eating outside on warm nights. Neighbours were also friendly, and plenty of space to park. We would definitely return, thanks to Ken the host for his great communication.

The single beds could do with an update, wasn’t a problem for our toddler as he is small but for an adult they might be a bit soft

Great layout with spacious bedrooms. Had everything on hand for a very comfortable enjoyable stay. Ample parking and within an easy walk to bars & restaurant’s.

I called Ken upon arrival to the house. He responded and told me the code for the key locker. It is necessary to have a local sim card to make a call. It was easy to find the house. The key worked fine. The house is spacious. Kitchen is well equipped, but there is no plunger for coffee. The lake is nearby and that is the best location you can imagine! I would love to stay there again!

I was surprised that the code was not sent to me in the message before my arrival. It would be good to have the code earlier , just in case. Majority of owners provide code one or two days before my arrival; or just after payment is completed. There was no hair conditioner and no specific disposal container for females in the toilet ( you know what I mean). No lake view, but there is a great short walk to the lake.

Great location within easy walk on Wanaka centre. Well equipped and very cozy with wood burner. Owners super responsive! Would stay again.

Nice quiet area. 5 mins drive to the centre. Hosts very accommodating and responsive. Warm fire, plenty of dry wood. Cute garden outside.

The 3rd bedrooms is upstairs on mezzanine so no closing door as such. was ok for us but something to consider. Small and attached to neighbours, clean and tidy but basic. Bathroom/laundry are was quite cold.

Loved the location, view of the snow capped mountains. The fireplace was very nice and kept the place lovely and warm. We all really enjoyed our stay and a great base for a family.

Fab little cottage with a comfortable, picturesque walk to the heart of town. Hosts are delightful and very communicative. Enjoyed the week thoroughly.
