The property was extremely well kept. Small little extras like fresh milk and leaving a lamp on for entering were really welcomed and nice little touches.

My 2nd visit to Cosy Nook and didn’t disappoint again. The cottage is cosy, clean, spacious and tastefully furnished. Everything is provided that you need for a perfect stay. A private enclosed garden with views over the fields. Although in a quiet village , the property is in easy reach of the main road/ motorway network. Close to Richmond, Barnard castle. Would definitely recommend and most definitely stay again

"Wow! Honestly the nicest property that we’ve been fortunate enough to stay at."

If you’ve ever seen the movie The Holiday, this cottage was as magical as the one in the film. It is as ‘chocolate box’ as possible and so thoughtfully decorated and presented, especially as we stayed in the week leading up to Christmas. It’s so well done that we all said that we never wanted to leave and could very easily live there. It felt so comfortable and homely as soon as we walked in, and we all explored it like eager kids, with shouts of ‘look at this room’ and multiple gasps of ‘wow’ and ‘isn’t this so beautiful’, that it was almost like Christmas morning and you were seeing what Santa had brought you. It’s safe to say that we all loved our time there!

There was nothing to dislike, it’s a fabulous property and I defy anyone to find anything wrong with it.

The size. The facilities. The comfort. Large bedrooms / beds. Great standalone shower. Fully equipped kitchen.

I’m aware this is personal to us, but we’d prefer the cottage was pet free.

"Perfect"

The cottage is perfect, well-equipped and beautifully decorated. It was clean, comfortable, nothing else to be desired. Our family liked it very much. It was the very best cottage that we’ve ever stayed.

We arrived at night and the neighborhood was so dark that we had long time to find and reach the cottage. I recommend that you should arrive before sunset.

The cottage was immaculate with everything you’d need! It was so cosy and lovely decor.

The main bedroom mattress was a little firm but that’s just our taste everything else was perfect!
