Clean and well equipped property. All facilities were in good condition and a pleasure to use. Great that there was the option of bath and shower as our preference differs in that respect. Bedrooms are welcoming and comfortable. The property is tastefully decorated to a high standard.

In the evenings it was quite cool to sit in the lounge, even though it was summer.

Beautiful property in quiet location. Very pretty garden. Central to be able to do lots of walking penne way and perfect stop on the way further into the Lake District.

Would be even better when the pub that is being refurbished is open so you could walk to a pub.

"Lovely cottage in beautiful location - but you need a car to stay here."

Beautiful and well-equipped, with some really interesting books to read. We wished we could have stayed longer.

Not really their fault, but there are no shops in the village (the CostCutter shown on Google maps doesn’t exist, and Google have been told but not changed their records). Hence if you don’t have a car with you (we were walking) the nearest place to eat is 20 minutes away.
