Pebble Apartment

Really lovely spot. Great view over the village to the sea from the apartment. Liked the window seat for reading. Peaceful.

Small issues- quickly resolved.

Great apartment for a couple, lovely setting, close to all the amenities. Fantastic views of the beach, great to watch the waves surging up the little stream. The apartment was very clean, it was very warm and cosy, the bed was really comfortable. Communication with Chloe was great.

Location

Sofa was damaged and sank badly. The welcome book was out of date and told us we needed 2 remotes for the TV but there was only 1, it told us to take the recycling down to the carpark but there was no bin there, it said the tv in the bedroom was only for dvds and some were provided but there weren’t any.

A sketch of how to locate the cottage would be helpful as was difficult to find. Without Chloe’s help we would not have found it 🤢

The apartment was spacious, clean and comfortable. Also tea,coffee milk and sugar on arrival was nice. Cleaning items also available. Dishwasher and washing machine were a bonus.

The shower fan didn't work also the shower head was loose. Toilet roll holder was unsteady. Better coat hangers needed not cheap wire ones. The TV in the bedroom wasn't tuned in properly. Too many chipped crockery items. The person in the adjoining apartment was a heavy snorer so there's an insulation problem 😕. The guttering was blocked with vegetation during heavy rain. The place where the keys were hidden wasn't big enough for the keys.

A beautiful and idyllic stay at the apartment with my 5-year-old grandaughter. The apartment had the rustic charm of a cottage, but with a modern twist in the kitchen and bathroom. The window seat in the living room was an ideal sun spot for our little Patterdale terrier, Dingle. The beach is a 5 minute walk down the path and over the bridge, next to the Hart Inn. The weekend wasn't long enough for us to explore all of the surrounding areas so we'll definitely be back for a longer staycation next time. Sandsend has never lost its seaside charm, and the whole weekend experience making memories with my grandaughter was the perfect end to the summer break. A couple of minor points, the fridge could do with replacing as we had to lie the milk at an angle as there wasn't a dedicated bottle area, and it spilt all over the tray so a bit of a mop up exercise. The fridge could do with trays removing and a deeper clean. More attention to cleaning touchpoints such as light switches and doors. The living room would benefit from some cushions and throws as we had to use the pillows from the bedroom to relax on an evening to watch tv. Other than that, the accommodation was good value for money, not least because of the location and facilities around us.

The location was lovely. It had a perfect view of the bay. It is situated a very short distance from the beach. The living room is specious and furnished well. The bedroom was clean and very comfortable. The bathroom features a full body shower, the bathroom is very clean and a good size room. The kitchen is modern with very nice units, a nice fridge, cooker and oven.

My only issue was at the front door. At the front door there is a drop in height towards the rest of the building, a potential falling risk for pets and children.
