"Not cleaned before check in on 2 stays however the location is fabulous"

Our third stay and the reason for the low score is the host. The place in itself is basic but the location is a wonderful quite haven. Keep communication with the host to a minimum and I suggest taking photos when you arrive as he may try to say you have broken things that have always been broken. Apart from that it is a wonderful place if you would like serenity and peace. The place is basic but this in itself has a charm. Don't expect the Ritz and you will enjoy it

The hosts rudeness and the place not being cleaned before we checked in.

"Hostile Host"

Amending my previous high rating review as after my third stay I have seen the true colors of the host. I would amend my recommendation to visit for the beautiful views and peace and advise you NOT to deal with this host at all as he quickly turns hostile.

The host spoils the property. The Portuguese are lovely warm people, try somewhere else on booking.xom Fundao centre is excellent

"The worst host ever.... I"

This property is substandard. It is unattended, and the property owner is a rude and angry person.

The road to the accommodation is very rough, and the GPS is unreliable. The tiny house is primitive and only equipped with an upstairs salamander (no fire-starters or kindling) for heating, which leaves the bedroom in the cellar cave-like. It smells strongley of floral disinfectant. After inspection, I refused the accommodation, and the owner refused refunding.I got stuck in the driveway that had a deep ditch, and the owner refused to contact the GNR to assist me.
