Es gibt Häuser, in die man eintritt und sich sofort wohlfühlt. Weil sie eine Geschichte erzählen, ohne ein Wort zu sagen. Reinebu ist so ein Haus. Ein charmantes, älteres norwegisches Holzhaus in Ørsta, das sich nicht anbiedert, sondern einen willkommen heißt wie ein alter Freund: mit Wärme, Charakter und dieser besonderen Mischung aus rustikalem Erbe und zeitgemäßem Komfort. Die Ausstattung ist durchdacht und lädt ein, sich nicht nur kurz niederzulassen, sondern anzukommen. Das Wohnzimmer gemütlich, mit einem kleinen Ofen für kalte Abende und Klimaanlage ist das Herz des Hauses. Und wer, wie wir, gerne selbst kocht, freut sich über die gut bestückte Küche und den großzügigen Essbereich, wo man gemütlich beieinander sitzen kann. Oben gibt’s zwei Schlafzimmer mit bequemen Betten und ganz viel Ruhe für erholsamen Schlaf. Draußen wartet ein kleiner Garten mit Teich und Terrasse kein durchdesigntes Outdoor-Statement, sondern einfach schön, lebendig und echt. Wie das ganze Haus. Die Symbiose aus alt und neu gelingt hier auf bemerkenswerte Weise. Kein Designhotel-Einheitsbrei, sondern ehrliche norwegische Wohnkultur, liebevoll gepflegt. Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür, Supermarkt zwei Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt - praktisch ist es auch noch. Unser Dank an die Gastgeber: freundlich, unkompliziert, aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein. So sollte Gastfreundschaft immer sein. Reinebu eignet sich für Familien genauso wie für Paare, die einfach mal raus wollen und ist auch für längere Aufenthalte bestens geeignet. Wer Natur, Ruhe und ein echtes Zuhause auf Zeit sucht, wird sich hier nicht nur wohlfühlen, sondern vermutlich ein wenig verlieben. Ich jedenfalls bin noch nicht ganz abgereist, ein Teil von mir sitzt noch im Wohnzimmer am Tisch und schaut durch das Fenster den Bergen beim Stehen zu.

Eine Waschmaschine würde für längere Aufenthalte sehr hilfreich sein.

From the moment we stepped inside, we were surrounded in holiday cheer, thanks to the meticulous decorations adorning every corner. The attention to detail was astounding, creating a warm and festive atmosphere that truly made it feel like home for the holidays. Not only was the house beautifully decorated, but it was also impeccably clean and well-maintained. The cozy bedrooms provided the perfect retreat after a day of holiday festivities, and the fully stocked kitchen made cooking our holiday meals a breeze. The booking process was seamless, and the hosts were incredibly kind, generous and accommodating, ensuring that our stay was nothing short of perfect. From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we felt welcomed and cared for. Overall, our experience at Reinebu house exceeded all expectations, and we cannot recommend it highly enough. The only thing we didnt like was leaving this winter paradise! It truly felt like home. And that sad feeling of leaving the snowy beautiful warm cozy little house palpable.
