Location was great, within walking distance of the station and the bus/funicular to Citta Alta. There are also loads of cafes and restaurants nearby. The apartment was really comfortable and quiet. The owner met us outside and showed us around, and there was even some food left for us to have for breakfast, which was really appreciated. There is a big bathroom with a large shower.

The ceilings in the mezzanine area around the bed are a little low, so if you are tall you will need to be careful, but it wasn't an issue for us.

The area and quiteness.

Overpriced and the lack of interest from proprietor. Breakfast was not up to standard. No milk, no bottled water.

Good facilities in the kitchen, so I could cook as well. little touches like seasoning and oil were appreciated. Great shower pressure and decent toiletries provided as well. Property in a great location. Good for walking and exploring around the city.

Shower door allows water to leak a little when in use. Could do with better hooks to hang towels from. hand towels kept slipping off. Mattress is a little soft at the bottom, but you only notice this when you sit at the end of the bed.

"Amazing Winter Weekend Stay in Bergamo"

Me and my boyfriend have spent 2 nights at Casa Pignolo during probably one of the coldest periods in Bergamo (we even had snow!) ❄️❄️❄️ But nevertheless it was an amazing stay, also thanks to the owner :) He was very accommodating and helpful, answered every question, helped with airport transfer and surprised us with breakfast and wine. Due to some regulations the house couldn't get warmer than 19 degrees C, but there were a lot of blankets and delicious coffee to warm ourselves. We would recommend Casa Pignolo for a stay on Bergamo, especially for couples :)
