Milne's Brae, cosy, comfortable and centrally located in beautiful Braemar

It’s very near center of town(5 min walk). It’s a large house, many rooms, nice garden, clean and well supplied!

The house can be very cold in wintertime and it takes a while to warm up. The kitchen is a bit overcomplicated, but we figured it out eventually ;)

Great location in Braemar, enclosed garden, dog friendly for responsible owners, kitchen was well supplied with everything you need for cooking Christmas dinner for a large group! Very cosy and warm, loved the wood stove and large kitchen diner. Lovely and quiet , next door to some great pubs and fife arms, forest walking circuits 2 mins away

We found the oven really difficult to work as very high tech

Lovely and warm, nice bathrooms, spacious and easy for a large number of us to be eating and relaxing together.

It was a bit off putting to find it was for sale when we arrived - we worried about what would have happened it had been sold before our stay dates. Many of the lightbulbs weren’t working, which made some corners a bit dingy. Also it was a bit short on crockery for 7 people which meant we had to wash up rather than use the dishwasher.

Very well equipped and furnished.

Lovely, clean and walking distance to everything. Lovely walks all around.
