Lovely location and very quiet. Plenty of space for just 2 of us

Would have been handy to have a little veg oil for cooking?

Keys were not in the lock box. Neighbor notified property manager, who came later and seemed to imply that it was my fault the keys weren't there -- something about I didn't book far enough in advance. The booking was accepted -- this was their fault. In my years of travel I have NEVER been asked to strip the sheets from the bed and bag them. There was no laundry soap, and NOWHERE in the booking or confirmation did it say I was supposed to supply my own. It was not clear whether I had rented the entire apartment or just one small room. There was a TV in the small bedroom that the property manager showed me to -- but it did not have a power cord. I did not realize the power was turned off on appliances and the TV until right before I left. There was not mention of this in the "instructions" book.

Fabulous house with great neighbour's! It was handy to everything, and had heaps of space.

Everything was fine, but some of the plates needed a bit of a clean before we used them. Not bad, just a wash. And, one small toilet roll for 3 adults for our stay meant we had to stock up the day after we arrived. I suggest getting in a few supplies before arriving at this awesome wee house.

This is a comfortable home with fabulous views. There are plenty of shops to buy essentials and a beach on your doorstep. It is an ideal property for getting the ferry to the Orkneys.

Good location just outside of Thurso town and right next to the ferry terminal for Orkney. Facilities were exactly as pictured, comfortable beds and various apps on the TV.

Great communication with the hosts, well equipped and comfortable one night stay as part of our NC500 trip - great northern light spotting place too, though it was a little overcast.

Nothing it was just perfect for our one night stay.

This is the second time I stayed at Four Waves. Close to ferry. Great facilities. Very comfortable.

The location, Host and Facilities were superb. Can only recommend, the neighbours are friendly and stopped for a chat almost every day during our Stay. Quiet cul-de-sac location.
