Villa Luna

Super lieve verhuurders. Ze communiceren enorm goed. Het is een prachtige plek en de kleine dingen (zoals goede horren en een parkeerplek) zijn heel goed geregeld. Geniaal dat je gebruik mag maken van het zwembad en de druiven en vijgen die daar groeien mag eten. Het was heerlijk.

Er is mij niks tegengevallen, ik vond het fantastisch. Maar als je niet goed ter been bent is Motovun als dorp best een uitdaging voor het lichaam .

Renoviertes altes Haus, man spürt die vielen Jahre. Das Schlafzimmer ist sehr hübsch, hat Flair.

Der Pool ist leider ein ganzes (steiles) Stück vom Haus entfernt, so daß wir ihn nicht genutzt haben. Ein paar Details hätten mehr Aufmerksamkeit des Eigentümers verdient: Der Duschkopf war nur als Handbrause nutzbar, die WC Brille locker. Das ist auf dem Campingplatz meist besser…! Die Stufen zwischen den Etagen sind sehr hoch.

- 🐶 Gassi gehen gestaltet sich schwierig es geht Berg auf oder Berg ab (wussten wir jedoch bereits) - 2 Min. Weg zum Pool nicht direkt vorm Haus auch ein sehr schwieriger Weg ( nicht für Gehbeinträchtigte geeignet ) - Kein Parplatz vor der Tür Sonst alles toll :) Wir waren sehr zufrieden, danke ❤️

We went in July and the weather was amazing. Sat by the pool with our baby. The house has so much character and the town in amazing. It’s great to get away from the tourists in Croatia and be somewhere peaceful and picturesque.

Nothing at all. It’s a quirky house in a stunning location. Quiet, peaceful, restorative.

De locatie en het uitzicht. Maar vanuit het huis zelf zie je enkel vanuit het kleine raam vooraan het mooie uitzicht.

Heeft echt wel nood aan een opfris beurt. Er hangen op verschillende plaatsen spinnenwebben. De voorzieningen zijn beperkt. Zeker als je het een Villa noemt! Ook aan en rond het zwembad is het helemaal verwilderd!

Beautiful house, great location.

Everything was great.

This beautiful old house is in a good location in Motovun and has its own parking place down on the main road. It has an aesthetic that feels comfortable enough and relaxed. Many of the structural parts of the original old house are still visible and give the interior character. There is a little patio at the back, off the bedroom floor, which is nice for breakfast. The kitchen is well enough equipped. The bed is comfortable. The communication with the host was helpful and friendly, giving all the instructions necessary for easy self check-in.

The house renovation looks like it was done on a budget. The interior finish lacks attention to detail and is quite rough in places. The photos on Booking.com make the place look better than it is in real. The bathroom is on the ground floor, two floors below the bedroom. The internal staircase steps are very high and steep, at least one and a half or even double the height of normal stair steps. The swimming pool photo being the first image you see on Booking.com is misleading, as the pool is not attached to the back of the house, it’s somewhere else in the neighbourhood. The place is a bit overpriced for what you get.

The villa is full of character, very rustic feel with stone walls and wooden beams. The location was perfect for visiting Motovun and the pricing was very reasonable. There was a parking space available which was very handy and the owner Goran was very friendly and charming. We had a peaceful one night stay.

The bathroom facilities were on the ground floor which meant going down the stairs during the night which isn't so good when you are older! The pool was "seasonal" and not open mid-May when we visited and the pool appeared to be off-site.
